1. We Create Because We Love To, But We Work To Pay The Rent.
Vendors do what they do because they love it and have worked hard to perfect their talents. Not only does rent have to be paid, on going training, gear repairs, gear upgrades, marketing, advertising and bridal shows all cost money.
2. We Don’t Conjure Things Up Out Of Thin Air.
Creative disciplines seem to be regarded as fluffy, even easy, the thing that people settle for when they can’t get a real job. Anyone who makes a living from this, knows that couldn’t be further from the truth - we are creative people doing serious work, just like architects or engineers, it is a gift and takes time, talent and traing to perfect.
3. Easy Doesn’t Mean Cheap
If you are good at your craft then you can make it look easy, that’s the art of what we do. That doesn’t mean anyone can do it - yes over time anyone can use a mixer, or Pro Tools. Anyone can use Twitter or Facebook, but that doesn’t make them a journalist.
4. Clients Pay For What We Know Not What We Do
Almost the same as point 3, but it takes years to learn our craft, that is tens of thousands of dollars of personal investment, not even counting the gear you use. Clients pay for what we know, not what we do.
5. You Can’t Have Good AND Fast And Cheap!
Vendors have a creative triangle, it has ‘quality’ in one corner, ‘speed’ in another and ‘cost’ in another. Sometimes they may have a spare day and on that day they may be able to fit in a job at a reduced rate. Good clients may get a freebie when they are stuck. Another time the venodr may work late to help a client out, another time a vendor might have to work long hours and move work around to produce a really excellent job - but too many clients want it good, fast and cheap - sorry, choose no more than two - that’s the deal!
We were invited into the home of Tina and Mark to help decorate for the most festive time of year. Christmas! They had a beautiful home with lovely decor to srat with. We were just there to add the final touches. Some of the unique vessels Tina had placed around the home just needed us to add fresh blooms for color, texture and fragrance. We really wanted to make sure the buffet area for the food was the focal point, since a holiday party is about "Eat, Drink & Be Merry!"
For the colors red and silver were the focus. We also incorporated fresh greens and pine to add in the holiday smells of the season. Apples were placed in the cylinders, because what is a holiday without hot apple cider. Hand opened red roses, white mums, lambs ear and purvian lily were the focal blooms. Using mercury glass, sequin ribbon and a silver and white wreath for the mirror. Once all of the candels were burning, the sun setting and the holiday music playing, it was a night their guest will rememebr.
Harry P. Leu Gardens Perfect Backdrop
Chlesea and John were married in the rose garden at Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando, Fl. The Gardens is the best place to say “I Do” in Central Florida! Garden weddings have been a tradition at Leu Gardens for many years. This beautiful venue serves as a backdrop for celebrating new beginnings. Weddings, vow renewals and commitment ceremonies are held year round.
Our photographer Cris Santoro took these images as the bride floated past all of the beautiful gardens and entered the rose garden.
We rented our new ceremony urn arch to go over the unity table. For the arch rental we used a fabric wrap with green garlands adorn with blooms to match with brides bouquet. With all of the roses in bloom in the garden and the fountains surrounding the ceremony site it was romantic and beautiful.
Cockatil hour was housed on the veranda overlooking the water. As the sun was setting the guest enojoyed drinks and appitizers proved by Arthur's Catering.
The reception dinner all took place in the Camellia Ballroom. Before the guest entered into the ballroom for dinner they had the opportunity to take fun pictures with Click! Photobooths.
These two from Soundwave were an absolute charm to work with. They had use laughing during the load in and the dance floor shaking duringn reception.

We worked with Style By Yvonne for this special little girl's Frozen birthday party.
For this chilled party white linen was used for the snow effect and a touch of our silver sequin overlay on the cake table representing the ice.
When a husbands plans a birthday party....
I love when I man wants to do something special for his lady. Many men have the best intentions and sometimes just dont have the knwoledge of how to go about making it all happen. That is when the smart guy calls on the professionals. Since most of the time for weddings we work with the brides or the mother's of the brides it is always a nice change to work with men on special occasion celebrations. They take a complete different angle when looking at things.
Now Mark is not new to our client list, We have worked with him in the past and will do a TBT on him. Our repeat clients are always a joy to work with because we understand what their style is and the direction they are headed.
Mark's beautiful wife was having a birthday when the call came in. A secret meeting was planned with Mark and her best friends at the venue. As we sat in Pete's wine shop discussing linen, decor, food and drinks, the wine connisour Tina (akak birthday girl) crashed the meeting. A scramble was on to find an excuse of why we were all there at her favorite wine shop, without her and without her knowledge.
The sercret was kept, the excuse worked and the party was about to be on.

The birthday girl arrived and the party was started.

The cake behind the theme. THis Louis Vuitton cake was the idea behind the whole party. Tina enjoys the designer and his style so pullling in the color scheme was the perfect plan. Gold for the tan and brown. We used a combination of gold sequins linen and gold circle taffeta sewuin linen.
